My Etsy Shop

Um… These few days, I just couldn’t stand the slow moving of sales on my livejournal shop.

So, I decided to set up an Etsy shop this morning.

However, every seller has to pay certain fees for selling on that site :
* Listing fees - each item, no matter the selling price, will be charged US$0.20 when listed

* Selling fees - each item sold will be charged 3.5% of the price sold.

So, here’s my shop banner and link:

Kawaii~neh! - Handmade cuteness!

Well, so far one item has been ’sold’.

But unfortunately, the sales will not be completed because the buyer is from Israel, and Malaysia does not send to nor receive mails from Israel.

What the )@(&&#%$)(#&@#$%^&**%$%^&)(*&!@#**&*%#@*()^!

Walau-EEEEHHHHH!!!!!!

My first sale!!!! Why why WHY does it have to be a buyer from ISRAEL????

Well, maybe it’s my fault too, for not putting up on the shop announcement that Malaysia ‘will not have anything to do with’ Israel.

Stupid Malaysian leaders.

What, think Israelis are going to send us bombs and anthrax?

Siau lah!!!

Luckily, the lady didn’t pay me yet. She sent me a message first to ask whether I can custom-make her a lime slice and a grapefruit slice plush. I have the lime at hand, and if the sale did get through, I’d have $23 added to my Paypal! ARGH!

Now, I’ll have to make a ‘transaction report’ to the admins on etsy, so that I can get my $0.20 and $0.42 (sales fee) refunded, and my item relisted.

So teruk one laaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haih….

Let’s set that aside lah…

Today, I made some Japanese notepads. Not actually really ‘making’ it like cutting the paper and binding the pad - that’ll take serious patience. I just cut and patchworked the covers of my numerous useless RM1+ notepads that I’ve collected during the period of lack-kawaii-but-still-want-kawaii. I’m trying to use up all the junk I’ve collected over the years - loose stationery and paper, bits and pieces.

So here are the results :

I’ve really enjoyed making them. :D
